Homer simpson

The dumbest person in the world. It is the single best phrase that describes the personality of this character. On the other hand, homer thinks that he is the most intelligent person in the entire world. He can’t read, he can’t write but he does everything we can possibly imagine. In multiple episodes he has been an actor, a singer, a rebel, millionaire and so on. One thing homer does best is, he drinks beer really well. When I look at him drinking beer I too feel like drinking gallons of beers at a time.
There are good and bad things about all of us. So is the case with homer. When he gets to doing a job except for the nuclear power plant where he works, he does it with fool sincerity( not full sincerity). He thinks that what he is doing is really good. When we look at him we are bound to think that the person is rrrreeeaaalllyyyy dumb.
When he was 6 yrs old he inserted around 16 crayon color sticks through his nose which led to a stick sticking up to his brain. This is the real cause of his dumbness I know so far. In one of the episodes the color stick was surgically removed which ruined his social life with his friends ( imagine how dumb his friends must be). He was fed up and begged the doctors to insert the color stick back into his brain. Guess who did the job- it was Moe. Moe is the bar tender in the ‘moe’s bar’ and a secret surgeon .
Homer’s head is clean. Since the 1st episode he has had 2 hairs on the vertex of his head. He sometimes comments about his hair flying due to wind blowing. In one of the horror episodes he transplanted hair of the most famous criminal in the Springfield after he was murdered on the electric chair. The hair turned out to be a ghost who mastered the mind of homer and was killing people. That was the end of his hair ever being on his head.
He is the dumb, but the one thing we see sometimes in his character is love. He loves his wife ‘Marge’ and his kids. There are episodes where in his wife is hit by rich handsome men, where in homer ultimately manages to get his wife back. Its not by his act that his wife comes back but its because of the love of Marge towards her husband.
Though he may love his son ‘Bart’ he strangles his son in almost all the episodes. This is one of the dumbest thing he does. He can’t think of any other way to punish his son. It’s just gagging.

His friends love him. There are episodes when he is disliked by those friends but ultimately they give up to the elegance of his character (hahaha). In one of the episodes he pays his taxes at the end of the year with wrong information, 1 second before the new year. The package accidentally goes to the pile of taxes which is to be seriously looked upon. The part than shows how the government uses him to investigate people, even his friends. He dosen’t want to do it but there was no choice. When his friends find the things he was doing they boy-cut him from their group. One thing that I forgot to tell is that the dumb nature of his is the greatest asset he possess. The dumbness of his character gets him into trouble and rescues him from the trouble at the same time.
Watching him just brings one thing to the viewers- LAUGHTER. You have no time to think, just laugh. He speaks through his kidney, he eats and eats anything he gets ( he never eats anything that dosen’t contain fat) , he scolds anyone he wants to, he drinks not water but only beer, he can bet on whatever he gets hand on ( he once bet is daughter ‘magi’ in a poker game) and he never thinks.
Lastly he is a character who everyone want to be somewhere in their mind. Why people would want to be Homer? He has the coolest life anyone can ever imagine. He has many adventures in his life. He becomes anything anyone can ever imagine. He does anything he wants to. Nothing can stop him, not the government, not his family, not his friends. The only thing which can stop him is his stomach ( hunger).
A word he created is “DO’H”.. There are around 5-6 DO’H in each episode. I love the word DO’H.
